Adoption

We are in the adoption process.  We are currently in the "waiting" stage.  Here is our story of our process:

We began talking about the possiblity of adoption soon after our 4th child, Emily was born.  In the beginning of 2010 we made the decision to explore the idea of adopting.  We started the process by attending an orphan care bible study that was held at our church by our pastor.  That class awakened our hearts and minds to the call on us by God to care for the "orphan".  We recognized that caring for the orphan can look different for different people, for example, caring for the orphan does not mean you must adopt in order to care for an orphan.
